Abs pump coding

Hi guys needing to code a second hand abs pump to my car, I have just installed
BMW 1.4.0 but a novice when it come to the computer side.
Any help? Thanks

I haven’t used scanner 1.4 to code a pump but I think it’s as simple as selecting DSC/ABS and changing the vin to match the car

You may still need to calibrate the pump using inpa

Sorry abs pump auto correct, can it not be calibrated with 1.4

I thought scanner 1.4 was only good upto E85?

I don’t think so as you need to do the 4 specific steps on inpa which I can’t recall

May not need calibration just saying I think you will if it’s been changed

Arh, I was told 1.4 was the best to get I had ago of inpa a while ago but found it abit old style

I use Protool for about 85% and iSTA for the 15% Protool can't do...

I fitted second hand abs pump, didn't need coding. Just made sure it had the same part numbers.
Common failure part inside failed.
