ABS Light Flashing

When I'm doing like 90 - 100 on a dual carrageway going round a nice sweeping bend :) my ABS light flashed for like 10 seconds. I had never seen this before. (In 3 years) I have always run on four Bridgestone tyres, but a month ago replaced the rears to michelins. Pressures are all OK.

That's 'cause the DSC is kicking on as you loose grip. Different tires. Michelin tires are usually harder (ie, won't grip as well) but the last longer.

MRol are you saying you only replaced the rear tire and you are running a mix of tires? If so that could be the problem.

Smokin I have only limited experience with Michlin tires and then only in the winter flavor but I know my Goodyear F1's get much more grip than the Bridgestone. Most that have driven both F1's and Michlins will rate them very close in grip with the edge actually going to Michlins and much better in all regards than Bridgestones. I guess I am wondering about your experience with Michelins and which of their tires you were talking about?

Most of the Michelins are rated longer life--I've not had any experience with their high performance tires, but I know their passenger tires are definitely longer lived and a harder compound.

If he is running mixed sets, yeah that could do it. But changing brands/tread patterns can also make a difference.
