Abrasion on soft top

I'm about to buy my second Z4. I've noted two very small areas of abrasion on the soft tops of both of the two that I have been offered. It's obviously caused by some sort of chafing. Didn't notice the same on my previous one
Is this a common problem? How concerned should I be?

I posted a picture of my 08 roadster which has the same wear and it is getting worse. It's caused by the roof folding and chaffing against the rear rubber trim at the rear of the opening - watch your roof drop and you'll see.

Lots of others highlighted that they had the same problem. As I drop the roof every time I drive the Zed my wear points on each side are getting worse. No one came up with a solution other than moving the section back to avoid the roof hitting the rubber trim.
