Hi,

Looking to get a Catback Remus for £521 + VAT (Couldn't get them to knock price down).

Looked at various others, similar prices or more expensive e.g. Longlife, Blueflame etc.

Mmmmm, about to punch in my credit card details lol. Last minute nerves!

Any last minute advice?

Hopefully £30-£50 to get it fitted.

Steve

It's a national price, but it will be from:

Carnoisseur Cambridge (Cambridge)
277 Newmarket Road
Cambridge
CB5 8JE

Mmm....£470 Ex VAT from http://motormec.co.uk getting better.

Jeesh you got a bargain, £400 Inc VAT and fitting?

They must have made £0 margin on that.

Would probably cost me £50 round trip. You sure that isnt without VAT? That's really low.

Just bought mine from Motormec, for £470 + VAT and free delivery.

You appy with yours then?

Thats including VAT. :) I had to wait a few days though as it was shipped over from Germany..

Yup, i'm very happy. Not to loud and not to quiet. Its a quality exhaust...

really good price there, nice :)

I'm still not 100% on the Remus tips though, I think they look a little boy racer from some angles? (good from the above angle though :))

I do regular trips to Essex to see the in-laws so it's good to know there is a place down there if I fancy investing in the future ;)

Ok, aborted on the first one, went with Elite and they quoted me £450 INC VAT and Fitting (which is apparently what you paid) :P, if it wasn't still a cracking deal. Saved £100 on exhaust and extra on fitting, maybe £50 or so, job done :) Even said they would post back original exhaust for £7 :)

Unfortunately the money I saved, i thought screw it and bought a strut bar lol. Apart from CDV (which I have, a modified one to fit), this is my last mod :)

No more costs, other than the usual (touch wood), job done!

Time to sleep!

ok i have to ask, what the hell is a Catback Remus

i some times think guys on here talk a foreign language lol

It basically includes everything from your catalytic convertor (pipe, back box to tail pipe).

It provides a marginal increase in performance, but does improve the sound etc.

Some people replace the whole system, others replace purely from the cat backwards, therefore catback :)

I think that's it.

5 Weeks for it to come! Jeeesh! They are making it when their timetable comes round for the Z4

Ordered the Strut Brace, that will take 2 Weeks! They have to make this from scratch and schedule it in as well

:x

Mine was made to order + shipping time... took almost 2 months to arrive. Thanks to the wrong part being shipped and then the correct one delayed because of the frickin volcanic ash, it's approaching 3 month on the induction kit.

If it's any comfort the exhaust was worth the wait... that extra noise is fantastic :)
