I am off to look at and hopefully buy a LImola Red coupe on Monday, Cant wait!!

What are the big things to look out for on them it’s had its inspection 2 recently. Its looks mint in the photos and the guy sounds like a genuine guy and true enthused so hopefully its then one.

From what i understand it has to have had the 1200 mile first service on time....... yes 1200 miles.. without proof of this it will be hard to sell on.
 
1200 mile service plus all other services they are great engines no problems .go with your feelings it does not seem right walk away .but if he is true to his word and the motor is imaculate only you can decide. :thumbsup:

all i can say is i looked at the one i got a few times didnt even drive it i got that gut feeling went for it and never regretted it had it a year now . :driving:

they are great cars :thumbsup:
 
me too, drove a 10,000 miler auc at bmw, gearbox drove like it had no clutch and no oil, then drove another with 52,000 drove well but not the colour or spec i really wanted plus a bit of vanos noise, bought the one i have now after 1 view and did'nt test drive it till i collected it 3 weeks later ,... after i had paid the dosh and done the deal, you just have one of those,... "that baby's comin home with me " moments when you see the right car. good luck, ps ,its easy to find reasons not to buy, and talk yrself out of it, but hold your bottle if yr heart tells you its the right car.

Welcome to the forum and hope it's the ///M for you, as others have said 1200 mile running in service is crucial, there is a window, mine was done at 1805 miles and verified with the supplying main dealer that was ok, oil and brake fluid every 2 years and of course your inspection 1&2 has paperwork to verify.

Brilliant advice guys,

Its had the 1200miles run in service so all good there.

If it is the one its got one hell of a jounry home with it, 9 hours drive home. Hope it is going to be fun drive home.
