About to be an E86 owner??? Key question.

Hi there, hoping to buy a 2006 silver E86 Z4 Coupe next week. Only thing is that it only has one key. How much of a chew on, and cost to get another key please?

Seem to remember the remote key being around £170 so we opted for just a spare key which was still about £50 and you used to have to collect it with V5 in hand

Send him your EWS (5 minutes to remove it) amd simply a clear photo of your current key and he will send the EWS back with a brand new key cut and linked to the EWS.
You just fit the EWS back in the car, then go through the pairing procedure with both keys to set them to the GM5 and you're sorted.

Thanks very much for the info. Shame is I’ve just followed the link and he doesn’t post to the Highlands of Scotland where I live. So many companies won’t, even though Royal Mail is exactly the same price to here as to anywhere else in the UK. I have got used to this though as I used to live in Shetland, where again, no more expensive but so many companies only use DHL, Evri etc. who charge a fortune compared to Royal Mail, so suppliers won’t ship.
