Anyone fancy coming along? I have never driven the course but been around it a few times. It seemed a very relaxed place. Big wide track witch chicanes along the straights to keep speed down. Lots of run off and lots of space i am keen to give it ago.

It is £129 for the day and its on Friday the 14th of November.
 
Has it been covered in tarmac, or is it still concrete?

If it's the latter, then expect to ruin a set of tyres and have a spare set ready to go on.
 
Will wait till nearer the time to book it cos if its pissing it down I doubt it would be much fun when off the track, considering the lack of cover there....
 
I have a large marquee at home that could be brought.... A wet track won't be fast but it'll save the tyres a bit :)
 
I will have to check work etc, but its not too far from me in SW London.

Whats the deal with insurance etc? Are there any other requirements?

I have never done a track day before, but its something I really want to!

Sounds like a good idea. I will go to this if others do even if I can't get on track.
 
I'm due tyres this side of February, so I'll keep an eye on this and pencil it in too, see what comes of it.
 
I will be coming to this but maybe just half the day. Quite skint as it's my mums 60th and I am treating the old bird!! Plus the dam car is costing me a fortune right now!!
