Girlfriend went down a pot hole last night and there is about a 1inch long scuff

Not hugely noticeable but I know
It's there, question is can these be repaired without taking the run flat tyre off ? Or if not obviously tyre would need to come off will it go back on okay ?

Pictures will help with any assesment. I had a tyre fitter scuff a wheel on my 3 series, they sent it off for repair and came back looking great. It was light damage, not through to the metal. Not sure if they removed the tyre or not during the repair process.

Haha that's what I thought but on closer inspection it you see can see the scuffs go downwards towards the cap not a rotational scuff.

PMSL  - I'm glad I'm not sitting here with a cup of tea, or it would be sprayed all over the keyboard...

My dealers doing one of mine at the mo, £75 + VAT, through their bodyshop, he was talking about baking so would say the tyres off, I'll let you know how it looks.

Can be done with tyre on, if similar to damage done by a mobile wheel fitter trying to get the run flat off my E91 - left 3 inch fairly deep gash. Local refurber did an excellent job. No idea how much it cost as the company that tried to fit the tyres paid for it obviously...!

Yeah been there before with getting run flats off on the 135 so letting the dealer do it this time, after all they should have the right equipment right?? :?

Paul if you havn't taken it in yet go to Gordon....

Carrowreagh Business Park Carrowreagh Road, Dundonald, BT16 1QQ

Cheaper and top notch work. Very professional guy. Had a massive chunk out of the face of one of my 326's by a rock and the wife had a kerb rash fixed on her last car.

Couldn't fault his work £40 something plus VAT but that was a while ago. He was very careful with the car to.

i read the first three words of the OP & a red flag went up... i was worried where the thread was going to end! :)

Andy thanks for that, too late this time but have made a note, just in case lol.
Wheel looks like new again, gonna be even more paranoid now...
Paul

Gonna phone one of contacts and check out costs

Is it worth putting some clear nail varnish on for time being to protect
