I really quite like the idea of the GT86, as well. Personally though, I just couldn't look at the GT86 when the MX-5 RC is far cheaper, and (in my opinion) far nicer.
Same here, likeing the GT86 very much and they look so much better in the metal than in pics, followed one the other day and they have decent road presence. Always loved my old MK1 MR2, not so much the MK3 I had, but the reliability and build was always a plus. Was dissapointed seeing the interior pics of the GT86 though, it does look pretty cheap and naff looking, but then again its the driving experience which counts.

THat car is meant to be a bit special chassis wise.Would love to drive one. How is it?
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the GT86 was a great drive. It may well have flaws (like all cars) but its certainly more fun to drive than the e89. The cheaper interior is fine by me (I never thought Id say that) because it will stand a bit more hammer.. I'm scared to death of marking the interior in the e89.
