Do not, under any circumstances waste two hours of your life on this.

The first page of gushing reviews on IMDB suggest that it's quite good. The second page contains the reviews of people, who well...let's just say they're more accurate.

This is supposed to be a serious and tense thriller, but at some points the script could have come from the comedy classic "Airplane!"

I enjoyed it for what it was.
Neeson is awesome though..apart from taken 2 was shite and a long list of other floppers but overall QUI GON JINN GETS MY VOTE

i just about got through Taken 1 although the last 20mins was a stretch  ok if you like Die Hard style movies :?
i was then "conned" into watching The Grey with my daughter which is around 30 mins of my life i will never get back , i gave up at that point as it was utter drivel
The guy has a long list of below average movies with the exception of Schindler's List which is a different class movie in which he more than step's up to the mark
I won,t even be trying "Non Stop" but appreciate your warning for others :P

I enjoyed it for what it was too... But mr wilks you are missing one of his all time greats.... The batman franchise... Namely batman begins!

for an old fella he is in alright shape and in a lot of borne style movies of late... So credit to him... Recovering since star wars!!

Can't comment on any Batman film's as not seen any :?
Can't compare the ones i have seen him in to the "Bourne" collection tho :o they are a different class

If you thought Non-Stop was bad don't inflict further punishment on yourself by watching I Frankenstein

and I quite like the Taken series, think 3 would be a stretch but this is Hollywood.

and Finally Dallas Buyers Club, I've watched half of it but after a while, the lengths that Matthew McConnaughey has taken his craft, it becomes quite off putting. Loved him as Detective Rust Cohle in the most excellent True Detective made shortly afterwards.

I enjoyed both Taken films and Non Stop.
Lets be honest you know exactly what to expect when you go and watch this type of film :)
If you watched Taken then what did you expect from Taken 2?
I'm just a Liam fan I guess.

I suggest you watch the dark knight trilogy thoen

I thought Taken 1 was great.

Taken 2 - hmmmm, meh :| The end was a little very poor, and the story line was a tad predictable.

Oh well, won't be rushing out to see it

i enjoyed non stop.

by no means a classic, but it was entertaining enough to prevent me from falling asleep :D

I like Liam's recent films - if you want escapism and entertainment they deliver - maybe your expectations are too high?

When anyone sees a film advertised as 'Only one man can. . . .' what on earth do they expect? Real life? :o Keeping that in mind and expecting a plot line with holes and laughable coincidences you can still enjoy the performances, writing and plot development - I don't know how they keep thinking them up  .

One thing I was surprised at and that was the poor special effects - CGI seemed years old to me. . .

I get increasingly amazed on what can now be portrayed on the screen - wonderful. I guess the difficult bit now is not overdoing it (which is what some are saying has happened in the latest Transformer flic).

:driving:

I liked Taken. It was very linear, but you cared about the people, the characters were strong and the action was quite excellent. Non-Stop was just a confused mess, with a woeful script, poor acting and quite simply the most ridiculous 'plot' imaginable.
