A Winters Rideout

The Zed has been under cover for more weeks than I care to mention. Two things hold us back from using it more often, the weather and limited mileage on the insurance. However, yesterday was a belter of day so we went out for a spin with the roof down. Twas a great blast down to Kirkcudbright for lunch at the Selkirk Arms. Heaven. I can see us moving there in ten years time, love the place.

The A75 is a great road to drive for leisure. Plenty of overtaking opportunities to let the Zed stretch its legs and it never fails to put a smile on my face. No fixed speed cameras in Dumfries and Galloway but we do have a couple of mobile ones, so be careful. Only went bonkers once when a chap tailgating annoyed me so much I pinged it up to, er I forget, and left him for dead. Why do people tailgate?

Ah I am so lucky, I really appreciate the Zed, great car to live with.

Its a lovely part of the country, but I not been down there for quite a few years. However it is now on my list for the spring and a wee hoon

Got to make the most of the weather, was hoping to get out myself yesterday but the weather was crap.I don't go out in the Zed that much but when I do I get a real buzz.Sounds like it has the same effect on you
