right!! im driving with the windows down/ half down and reach my location. i always forget to put them up before i get out and then have to go through the task of putting the key back in to raise them.so my question.... is it possible to make the windows go up automaticly when the engine is turned off???

Not that I know of. In my 3 series, before the zed, if you held the lock button down on the key fob, it would close the windows... I think the zed has the same feature, not that I ever use it

Yeah it does - hold the lock button down and they close, hold the unlock down and they open. :)

Perhaps on the, er, lesser, Coupés they do, but on the mighty Roadster only the opening works. I think that it's a "health and safety" issue, as Comfort Opening and Closing (that's what BMW call it) include the roof as well as the windows on the Roadster. Thus you can have Comfort Opening (press and hold the unlock button on the key and both the windows and roof open), but not Comfort Closing. I believe it's the same logic that doesn't allow one-touch closing of the passenger-side window.

Of course, all this can be over-ridden, either by using NCS Expert (but not SSS Progman) to code the car, or using the Gap-Tech or similar modules.
