A will they fit thread....wheels

Hi, been offered some 19" CSL reps for my none M E86, however they have come off a Z4M....
The seller believes they are the following fitment

Front - 19” x 8.5 - ET44
Rear - 19” x 9.5” - ET27

I first thought I'd just need spacers for the rears, but now I'm not sure after doing a bit of reading up. Will they fit a none M car?

Thanks

The fronts would be OK, but don't think the rears would. 3.0Si rear wheels are 8.5J ET50 so the face of those rears would sit 23mm further out even before you factor in the extra inch of rim!

Try putting the details into a website like willtheyfit.com to get dimensions.

The lower the offset, the more poke. The wider the wheel, the more poke. The normal rear wheel size is 8.5 and the offset is et50. You will have about 35mm extra poke which will be outside the wheel arch, I.e. too much.

I'm running a set of 18 inch Style 32's from an E38 7 series, which are 9j and ET22. With a 255/35/18 tyre they just fit, but it's tight. I'd imagine with the increased wheel width of half an inch and slightly less offset of 5mm, your rim would stick out a little more (2.5mm), but if you used a 255/30/19 tyre, it should just about work based on my setup, as the top edge of the tyre would be 5mm further into the arch.

I like Style 32 wheels too. If you manage to find a set of 18s off an E46 3 Series they are identical sizes and offsets to 108s, MV2s, etc. and are apparently quite a bit lighter than any of those.

But they dont have that deep dished look, sadly.

It’s not enough if they just fit. You also have to check for clearance. If you want to go slow and focus on looks, that’s fine, but if you like pushing hard through corners, don’t stray too far from factory specs or you’ll run into rubbing issues.

EDIT: Both red and silver cars look beautiful :D

The fronts do catch slightly on the front of the wing liner that clips to the front bumper, but believe this is down to my car needing a front suspension refresh. Only happens with big dips in the road.

Same... I run BMW style 405, 8x18 et34, 225/40 front tyre. 245/40 rear tyre is fine.
Very slight rubs on the front when running Eibach Pro, much better with a 10mm spring pad, completely fine stock M Sport.
