A stark reminder !

Had some sad news today - a very good friend passed away this morning after a short illness - still can't really take it in - we had been friends for over 30 years - fortunately we had a quite a long telephone conversation last week ( they live 350 miles away ) - I knew he had cancer and he was in the middle of chemo but this came out of the blue !

This is a stark reminder of how fragile life is - we must all live for every day.
 
Sorry to hear that gov :( life can hit a blow when you least expect it sometimes.

I'm still trying to come to terms with losing my mum just before Christmas. I still find it hard how someone can get up in the morning happy as Larry doing the crossword and then feel ill and a few days later they've gone, I find it quite hard to accept. As you say life is very fragile.

Just best to think of happy times.
