A spark plugs a spark plug...isn't it?

I 'm looking to be educated please. Looking for a set of spark plugs for my 2008, 2.0i zed and frankly, I am baffled by the range of choice and accompanying prices from a tenner a set to £65!

Is there an idiots guide anywhere that can help me to make an informed decision, or any one with experience in these matters, I want to fit and forget. :?

Just like mine, they arrived today, NGK Laser Iridium 4294, £6.71 each delivered, seems a good price to me.

Laser Iridium sounds scary! must be good I thought.

I had a look at this guide to spark plugs since I had no idea what either Iridium or lasers were doing in spark-plugs, turns out iridium is really only useful if you had cr@p non-OEM ones fitted and lasers aren't involved at all which is a disappointment :P But you can't go wrong with the big names like NGK
