A small piece of disa valve is missing (M54B30)

Hello!
BMW Z4 E85 end of 2003 M54B30.

A few days ago I noticed a rattling noise coming from the intake manifold. This sound was coming from the DISA valve. Of course I took it apart and of course the original plastic stem was completely round, as if it had been like this for several years.
Below I am attaching a photo of what I found:

And most importantly, when I started examining the valve, I discovered that there was a small piece missing from the top of the valve.

Looking at this, I can only assume that these are mechanical force created by some "specialist", but it is also possible that this is just very old plastic that decided that this was its stop.
Tell me, has anyone encountered this?
Should I be worried about this small plastic piece that could have gotten into the engine?
Judging by the fact that the valve rotation stem has completely lost its shape, the DISA problem has been going on for a long time. Could this plastic have melted somewhere and just settled in the intake?

Thanks a lot for your opinion!
