As you know from my previous thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=35109 .... i had been mulling over selling my beloved Z4MC for about a year now... A combination of a child, now 3 yrs old so I've done we'll hanging onto the car for his long thanks to the misses who understands my passion. The MC will be very sadly missed... :| :| A love affair spanning over 5.5 years of ownership... we have been many places together, gave me a few endorsements within 6 weeks of ownership   :D (now cleared thank god) and met lots of like minded people some of whom are good friends now...

I can honestly say this car has been by far the most thrilling piece of machine I've owned . I can to this day recall the test drive - was immediately at one with the car, the noise, the thickish steering wheel and low centre of grav seating position, its looks and the buz you get when your on it... :driving: needles to say bought her here and then... In that period she has been tailored IMHO into one weapon that has left far more exotica motor gob smacked at its capabilities... :poke: :poke:

It's gone to someone on here so hopefully not all is lost  maybe when I turn up at one of the Z meets in my 1.6 Fsi and he's there, I may get a pax lap for memory sake

Thanks to all that gave feedback on how to proceed re selling stock or with mods. I think from an enthusiasts POV I'm glad I went down this route... Agree financially I may have lost out slightly... But hay ho, some you win and many you loose  I'd never set out to make money out of it.. The great memories and fun times alone are worth far more.. Never know I may end up buying her back :D .

Finally sorry if I inadvertently mislead anyone when I first listed the parting out option on the pre thread (It's been locked by then mods :( ) nothing underhanded was intended... ... I'm crap at selling I know... :D that's it!!

Nice write up Flatout, that's one special ///M, hope you stick around on the forum

Certainly Darren slone .. Will continue checking in as always... Although my average post count is shockingly poor in the last 42 months of membership.. maybe this will change once it's gone.......

Always good seeing you at meets and tuns Flatout....good luck with the new car, and hope to see you again.

My only reason for selling is that I've had the car for almost 4 years and I feel like its time to change. Then I go for a test drive in whatever Im looking at at the time, get back in the MC and realise I dont feel like a change.

After years of cars that have all been nice, the MC is outstandingly special.

Glad I don't need to sell. And I won't be nytime soon.

You've been too busy driving that lovely Z4MC rather than talking about driving it!! Sorry you are selling Flatout, always admired your car. Some of the original M stalwarts are selling up now. Guess it's only to be expected now that the cars are getting to be 6-7 years old.

What's replacing the Z4MC?

Looks an awsome machine mate, feeling your pain too! Glad its gone to someone who will look after it as you have though.

arhhhhhh will miss you around here to be honest :-( it was nice to have a proper modder here, in the UK scene people like you, john, me, ben seem few and far between :-( glad you sold it as a whole however!!
