I said to the mrs if someone you didn't know had a baby down the road you wouldn't be interested as you don't know them so what's the difference with a royal baby as we don't know them either!

Fair point but then the baby down the road isn't going to be in the public eye or in line to be king.

The media coverage has been completely OTT imo, but I can see why there is a degree of interest.
