thanks , what junction would to you be near? I’m near junction 29 -A 127
Pretty much the opposite side, junction 10 for the A3.
thank you for offering, if it’s ok , I’ll try n find someone a bit closer , if that’s ok ? Or try n get that test drive sorted. Appreciate the offer though, thanks
No problem. I was showing my car to a random stranger in a supermarket car park a few weeks ago. I was just leaving and a driver in a Mini shouted over whether I liked the car. So I stopped and gave a tour. She was thinking about buying one. Always happy to help fellow G29 fans !

What are the chances, I’m not gonna like it ???
It depends on what you want from a car. Laser sharp track weapon ? Then I would visit your local Porsche dealer. But as an overall ownership proposition an M40i ticks so many boxes. Easy to daily, fun when you are on it, practical space, looks lovely, you can park it in many places without too many worries.

Manuals are already in showrooms but not sure if anyone has taken delivery of one yet. At that premium i would probably stick to the auto.

As an owner who tracked the M40i, I can tell you it also ticks the box for occasional trackday fun (I need to emphesis it's fun, not racing) if one day you fed up with terrible road condition, speed limits, legal consequences etc.

And how many of you would purchase this?

I would if it is was available in something other than Green, like it is in Europe
Seen this in real life as it were, and looks a lot better. Was very tempted with the Auto version a few weeks ago but it sold before I could influence STMBO. Another plus is Pondrew doesn't like it either

There's a metallic green (Sanremo) on the auto and frozen deep green on the manual, have you seen both?

That is an excellent barometer of good taste.

You can't buy class. Some of us have it and some just don't. :D
You spent good money on a Civic Type R, whilst it might be an entertaining drive, it's certainly not a great advertisement for one's class or good taste :poke: :P

Pondy thinks being classy is putting his fish supper on a plate.
You can take the boy out of Spalding........
