A quick Z4 shoot I did tonight

Ok my mates just bought a Z4 as well as me, and I quickly rushed out for 10mins with him tonight and got a few pics before the light made it impossible. To be honest the light was rubbish anyway, too dark, and the sky was BLAND and boring!

I'll be honest I usually have zero interest in pics, everyone knows what a Z4 looks like and I don't need to see some average pic of one. However I tried to make mine at least a little more interesting, note this was a quick shoot without a tripod and with poor light (so had to tweak them a bit).

Just thought some of you might have an interest in seeing them.

Well for a crap sky, no time and boring Zed?? they look pretty good to me.

Don't stop taking photos :thumbsup:

(It would be better if you could display them on the board than the rapid slideshow, but your call.)
 
Nice pictures. Something i never get round to doing is a few proper pix of mine.

The turbine wheels look great with merlot red, why dont they look good with other colours?. :?

Well I didnt say they were good, just a tad more interesting than a snap taken on a driveway, I doubt many people have a old war plane on their lawn.

People seem to always say 'owww post up pics' when newbies come on - so I'm doing just that.

Wel always like to see pics of Z4, as most have been tweaked in some way. I had to wonder what the hell was sticking out of the top on your first shot :poke: , realised later after looking through, other than that nice pics. :D
 
Pretty good pics - an interesting background like that (the planes) always makes for a better pic. As you say, everyone knows what a Z4 looks like so it's good to see a bit more thought go into it :thumbsup:
 
Thanks guys, I'm up on the rule of thirds and such, however to be honest I just like to do what I like rather than what is 'right' - technically they photos are flawed, but I tweaked them to suit my taste.

To be honest it was just a total rush job, I'd like to find a decent location (like a dock or something) and spend some time getting a proper shoot done. Last night we litterally just turned up, dumped the cars in that position and then I snapped away for 10mins while chatting to my mate, then a quick tweak of the pics when I got home.

I'm looking to find a good location in either Essex or London for a better shoot when I have a better sky too. Thanks for the comments though guys - I know your friendly, I'm just very self-critical about my photos as I'm not at the standard I want to be.
