A pair of ///M's going for it :-)

Excellent - the coupé driver was certainly giving his brakes a good test :driving:

Awesome. The coupe was always gonna win :stir: :fuelfire:

Yep, pretty much guaranteed when the roadster let him go first :fuelfire:

...I was surprised though, he backed off quite a lot and the roadster was right up his arse the whole way. Smaller cojones

Nice clip. Front car kept getting his lines wrong, missing apexes, on the twistiest, and the second was all over him, but he also seemed to have the legs on the longer straights and curves. 8)

I'm the owner of the coupe - had the car half a year at that time. I believe I did about 20 NS laps when that movie was captured.

Stock suspension, stock brakes with either EBC yellow or RS29 pads. PSS tires.

I watched that a while ago. Looks like great fun!

How are you liking it now? Improved your laptimes?

I'm going around in 8m15 now: http://youtu.be/2Pseu_RCoXk

Lines are not yet ideal - but already much better than last year :). Can't wait to go back in a few weeks!

Nice run.

Nice video indeed....yeah I thought the coupe seemed to pull away from the Roadster near the end, but seemed like the Roadster driver had backed off a bit??

Nice to see the 'Ring tackled by 2 z4 M's though

We both prefer different parts of the track - and hence are quicker in those sections.

Anyways I think 8m10 - 8m05 is possible with my current setup, but to go under the 8m mark I'll have to get a few more upgrades. Thinking about suspension, BBK and semi-slick tires.

:P I was the guy in the roadster….

A the time; I had a double amounts of laps at the ring then the coupe driver… The coupe has the standard Z4M brakes (with pagid pads, steel lines), my roadster has a full AP Brake kit. Some area's of the track he is faster, other parts I'm faster.
