A newbie in the market for a Z

Hey everyone.

First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm currently in the market for a 3.0l Z4 Roadster pre-facelift preferably under 10k and with give or take 40k miles on the clock.
I'm driving a 1995 MX-5 at the moment and looking to sell it.

Seeing as I've been told that posts are worthless without pics here is my, soon to be ex (hopefully), car:

I've also noticed a fair few of you around Berks area which seems a pretty good place to have a contingent.

Bobby, I'll be honest.. I love your car, it looks astounding (almost too good to be true ;) ) and I definitely do want a manual but I can't see it lasting long at that price and it might take me a month to get rid of the Mazda and be in a position to buy unless I can convince you to take it as ~2k part exchange :(

nothing wrong with yours at all,honestly it's a great looking car and immaculate but m44rrt's got the colour combination I prefer,nothing else :D

Sadly I don't fancy the MX5, but good luck selling it. When you do sell it, get in touch I may still have the Z4 but who knows!

and BluZiff you're just jealous your 1.6 is gone.

Dont know if you would be interested in my Z4, its a 3.0 It's fully loaded £££ of extras like satnav and bluetooth, xenons etc, full BMW history, low miles, 12 months MOT!

Thanks Neil, it looks awesome. Sadly I'm really looking for a manual box but thanks for bringing it to my attention.
 
No worries, let me know if you change your mind, we live pretty close so if you cant find a good manual your welcome to take it for a drive and see what you think
 
Right well.. my mazda is now up for sale on pistonheads...

And the phone hasn't stopped ringing since earlier today.. probably underselling it.

So I am now truely ready to purchase my zed. :) dunno if it's worth putting a "want to buy" thread in the buy or sell forum. Would you guys think this is a good plan or is it best to keep checking it for sales.
