Last Saturday me and a nate of mine with an S2000 went for a nice mountain drive. It was about 2 hours of spirited driving with a break for coffee and chat in between. Lots of fun!

I shot 5 videos total but part 2 keeps failing to upload because of my dodgy connection, i'll update the post with it when i finally manage to put it on youtube.

Hope you enjoy!

Wow yeah great vids, pic and sound quality is great. The RPI exhaust sounds brilliant too.

Where was everyone else, only saw a couple of humans and other cars?

28 Days Later :scratchhead:

Wondermike, we've some amazing routes near my town and the best ones are also with very little traffic! The first part i posted was only a small clip, that particular run from that video is 21km long and we met NO cars at all, either coming the other way or in our path! :driving:

The camera setup is as simple as it gets. Take your pocket digital camera of choice, place it on the dash behind where the navigation screen is and push it forward till the top of the camera touches the windscreen, then wedge a piece of blu-tack between the top of the camera and the windshield to hold it in place. Voila!

The better the camera, the better the video. And if it has image stabilisation like mine then the video will be even less shaky.

Fantastic videos ga41. What great roads. You are indeed very lucky to enjoy the MC in scenery like that. The car sounds lovely too

Thank you all. I'm currently in the Troodos mountain range where I'll be spending the night at the village of Kakopetria. At the top of Troodos there was about 30cm of snow and was very foggy, very windy and still snowing. The roads were clear though and the M and the Vredesteins didnt miss a beat. It was 18 degrees and sunny in Paphos and an hour and a half later i was somewhere where it was 3 and snowing.

Ive shot videos of going to Troodos too and i may upload them later. :)

Finally managed to upload part 2 of Saturdays drive with the S2000. The snowy videos i'll start uploading now but i warn you, they're not terribly exciting. Wasnt going fast at all but you may enjoy the scenery!

As promised here's the video from my small retreat up in the mountains, it's the drive up to the top of Troodos. Admiteddly it's not terribly exciting but just think that you can be sipping your frape by the sea in the morning and be skiing up in the mountains an hour later. :D

Enjoyed all your vids, what a super noise your pipes make and those roads and that back drop truly depressed now ha ha

Thank you all chaps.

DavidB and everyone else, you should visit if you can. I can give advice on where to stay and what to do. Just let me know. :)

We're having a lazy week in Paphos mid March.

Will look out for your M :)

It's a good time to visit. Do you know where you'll be staying? Do you want some info or anything? I highly recommend renting a car for a couple of days and touring the villages near Paphos and the Troodos mountains and if you'd like i can tell you some very nice routes to take. Careful though because while negotiating a corner in a spirited manner you might come across a screaming M tearing past the other way!

We will be staying at the Royal Athena Beach. Went there last year and really enjoyed it. We hired a Nissan Scrote and had a day out in the Troodos. The drive up was great (dispite the Scrote).

Will look out for you in the M 8)

I know the hotel. It's not bad at all. I go past it almost every day for my after-work relaxation cruise.

My offer still stands if you want more info like good taverns, bars etc.
