A milestone, literally

It’s been a few years since I’ve been on here, but I thought I’d share the old e86 has just knocked past 200k miles. I’ve done 150k of them in the last 12 years. It’s a battle scarred old thing these days, and still on its original clutch!! The passenger seat still looks new, the steering wheel looks like it was brought up from the titanic. Still love it though.

And it seems to be just as powerful and as economical as when I got it. Uses a bit more oil but I guess that’s to be expected

That is really impressive. Out of interest have you had many problems whilst racking up the miles?

A man of my thinking! Mine's currently on 124,000 and I've done 74 in the past 5 years or so. I make sure everything it needs mechanically, and electrically, is covered. Just had it Lanogaurded by Auto Expert in Lytham to give the underneath a freshen up. Every panel is level from dents but has some kind of little mark on it but from 20 feet away she's a straight old 20 year old! My background is body repair so I know not to worry about cosmetics too much!
