Cheers guys! Hoping the navy will release me early...they've got 6 months but notice period is up to a year in the navy.... However legally I could get a solicitor to say they can't keep me longer than a month as I'm paid monthly...

But fingers crossed I can leave in 6 months

Anyone know much about Milton Keynes? Cheap areas to live where my car won't get nicked
 
Well done matey, nice to see some success :)

I was Army until 2011, and as long as you had a confirmed job or university place, they would normally let people go as soon as possible. I believe most we're asked to sign a waver on resettlement time etc and then moved on.
