Very true .. but the water was coming out of the drains here like a hydrant

as am i! Part an parcel of livin up norf!

Try Cornwall for proper rain. Local news report on the radio yesterday, went something like this.

The North Korian's are reported to be planing a further test of their intercontinental ballistic missile.

The A387 Looe to Polperro road, is closed due to mud and potatoes being washed across it, from a local farmers field. :o

Mind you, the rain is warmer down here.

according to local rag we had 22mm in a few hours this morning with flash floods ... the water was coming out of the drains like a fire hydrant at one point ... the pennines here really cop it

Jesus what a wet weekend in Lancashire. Had a trip over the Bowland this weekend in my daily in between showers now lied in bed listening to the rain

Bloody huge hailstones this afternoon in middle earth

No wonders it's so bloody green

Looks like it will be dry next weekend for us Lancastrians to invade Scotland for the "Border Reivers" :driving:

Cornwall wasn't quite wet enough today, so I headed for Devon. Six hours on Dartmoor, in driving rain. Livin the Hi Life in the SW of England. :D

Zed never left the Garage. :(
