A Little Help Please... Airbag Light Removal

Hi All,

As you may know my car is for sale, unfortunately from my recent seat swap the airbag light is on which was my fault because I plugged the battery back in but the under seat connector wasn't fully plugged in :headbang:

I have bought BMCables Lead & Software from fleabay.. And all installed and used it on the car

I have cleared all the faults from DIS and INPA, which says Airbag is ACTIVE but the light is still on!!!!! :headbang: am I missing something?? Is there another way to turn that fooking light off??....
 
If INPA can't turn the light off, there is a problem with the connection. Either something still isn't plugged in properly, or you may have damaged one of the connectors (I had to replace my side airbag plug after changing the weather membrane.)
 
INPA didn't work for me either for some reason! I had to use SSS Progman to sort it!
I took the beeper alert off of the passenger side belt and the next screen asks if you want to clear all errors. Click yes and voila! Only way I could get mine to clear :thumbsup:

Cheers Luke, I'll give that a try tomorrow hopefully I won't kill the battery again... Woops

On a side note anyone managed to use ncsexpert with success? It didn't work for me and somehow took away what I'd coded from sss progman.. :/
 
I used DIS v57 to clear airbag light, do a quick test on system then go through each module which has errors and read memory then clear memory.
