A HardCore Top Down Day..

It was unbelievably hot here in Va Beach today. 98-100' with a 'real feel' of 107'..... Whats 'real feel'???

Walked out of the shipyard late this afternoon. I am thinking that it just might be a top up drive home. Just too hot...
Started the car and got the AC up and running.. I drove about a mile, noticed that the onboard temp read 102'.... 102??? I did not think the temp read more than 99. Guess I was wrong.

Stopped at a light, and said: 'Hell...' so I put the top down and drove 25 miles home.. Not too bad except when I had to stop...

Right around 98F/37C today in SE Pennsylvania.... :heat:
Had the top down for most of the day but I cheated and ran the A/C as well.... :P
I was also out for a while this evening and that was really nice...

I went to Vegas last month looking for the "dry heat". It was 109 and it hit me like a truck when I ventured outdoors. :heat:

I'm getting pretty whimpy in my old age. :oldman:

really wish there was a tunnel that took us over to your side of the planet, set the cruise at 130 and head straight.. until you get to Manhatten.

I'd love to be over there in my Zed.. i did LA to Vegas and back in a Mustang and it was one of those "might have been" type trips.

It's about 18 celcius over here, and it's definitely not a dry heat !

Ship my onboard read 106 this summer and you know we do not get that hot very often. This summer has been way way too hot. My once beautiful lawn, looks like hell. I spent $500.00 for new flowers but I should have saved my money as they are all dead now half way into summer. :x

wish we had the prob of being to sunny for roof off! Its more a case of- is the rain light enough!!
