Yes he posts in the facebook group. I like bold colours (obviously), but green needs to be a lambo IMHO!
Theres a FB group, what do they call themselves (apart from the obvious Z4),,,,,,
You need to be in the FB group to view. Z4 Events UK is the group.

I was watching a DBS restoration last night and they chose to repaint it in olive green. Got me thinking that I might consider either olive green or British racing green if my car ever needed a repaint.
Go the whole hog and go digital camouflage.

Cracking introductory post

Hello and welcome, you should post in the newbies section and introduce yourself and some pictures of your car

Personally, I love seeing people enjoying their cars. So if it floats your boat and brings you joy then it's all good

Yep each to their own. I imagine everyone is bored as we all cannot go out. Maybe you should all post your cars so we can all slate each others. I bet we could all find something to have a laugh at, even the drivers.

Wrapped cars always look a bit crap, just a cheap shortcut for people who want to make their car look extra blingy until their lease ends.
CHEAP..... Never heard of a cheap wrap, or a cheap wrap removal.....

Cheap compared to doing a proper job. Same goes for wheels, you have people dipping them in plastic coatings rather than stripping down a powder coating. It might look ok from a distance but up close it just looks crap.

That’s why I paid good money to have a good quality wrap 8)

Had a mate wrap his R8 soft top in pearl white, it cost ££ thousands, and almost as much to remove it......

Why would you need to pay someone to remove it? couldn't you just do it yourself with a heat gun and a bit of time? This is just my opinion only but I think you've got to have more money than sense to vinyl wrap a car.

I dont know the answer to your first question, maybe their are inherrent risks of it lifting paint or the adhesive coming away in patches, or maybe the peace of mind that 'if they fek it up they fix it'....
Personally I think a wrap is quite a good idea. It protects the actual paintwork and some mof the colours are incredible. I noticed a 3 series M car wrapped in a silk finish dark red and everyone was looking at it.
Considering even lambos barely get a second glance from anyone over the age of 15 these days thats really saying something.
Too expensive for me though, i am a horse hair brush and emulsion guy :D

I have to agree if you are talking about PPF but when I found out the cost for doing that I thought I'd rather just leave it as it would be cheaper for me to get the part painted rather than have the PPF done!
