Hi folks

My work colleague has had a dodgy looking 06 plate 2.0 for a couple of years, he's not really done anything with it because he already has a Jag and Porsche to keep him amused. It's just sat there for quite some time.

I've just agreed to buy it for £500 as a basic project car and as a run around to see if I like Z4's. Up here on the outer isles of Shetland, you don't need a valid MOT to drive on the road, so I can breeze about whilst doing a basic upgrade for MOT.

It will be known as The Donkey.

Stand by for questions....
 
I would imagine there is no better place to own a convertible! :unsure:
 
At £500 frankly you’re a genius…most things on an E89 35i start at that price…welcome
 
At £500 how could it be anything other than a bargain!

Hopefully you'll like it, but if you don't you shouldn't lose any money on it.
 
Well, let's see how it goes.........
My biggest worry is rot, the wind stuffs salt water into everywhere up here, it destroys so many otherwise good vehicles; my F800GS is testament to this......:rolleyes:
Donkey is off to the garage here on Unst for a once over next week - fingers crossed!
