Having spent the afternoon washing, and polishing the Zed I went out for a drive in the evening sunshine and thought I would post a few photos...my first photo post...

BTW I washed, then polished with AG SRP then put on two coats of EGP, should I wax it as well now? Have ordered some wax from BMW after doing some searching on here, only £7 a bottle, have they ordered the wrong stuff?

Good idea Rudd, but i don't think iPhoto is up for that kind of thing and I don't own aperture/photoshop...I do keep thinking about getting it though

Fantastic photos. Only thing missing is a mesh wind deflector

With regards to photoshop - I have it on my Mac and used to use it quite a lot (although not for a couple of years). If you like I could try and remove the box when I have a bit of free time - would be nice to get in to the swing of using it again. After tomorrow that is...

P.S. found this on DW which might answer your question... http://www.detailingworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106724

Haha thanks Jamie - I shall look forward to seeing the my old mesh deflector in your pics soon! 8)

Feel free to have a go an editing the photo, ill email it to you, after tomorrow that is - I dont want to be held responsible for a revision distraction!

Nice love first pic  wanna jump in and drive down that road as i am sure you did.

Re wax use this on top of your SRP+EGP its what i use and leaves a great wet glossy look http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/victoria-wax/victoria-wax-3oz-concours-wax/prod_312.html

After regular washes try this for that just waxed look http://www.seriousperformance.co.uk/Products,78,toView_772.html

Like the pics, especially the first one.

Straight road, trees, sunshine, no traffic - reminds me of Northern France

As the other said, DrNick, some great photos - and loving the first one... there's a road out of Henley that looks very similar maybe not as smooth. But yes, as CJ said, very French.

Car's looking proper shiny too... got to be happy with that

Its not Northern France, sadly, its road near Kingston Lacey between Winborne and Blandford - its a great road, 700 beech trees http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/dorset/8682795.stm

I know the road near Henley you are referring too Pawn - another great road (I was born/lived in Earley till I went to Uni)

Thanks for the nice comments guys

Looks good and definitely get some wax on it to keep it nice and shiny and the paint protected.
