A few questions....

Hi Guys

Now that I've owned the Zed for a few weeks I've got a few burning questions I was hoping you could help me out with:

1) I found a piece of metal in the ashtray which I have no idea what it's for. Its about 3cm long, rectangular, and has a hole in the middle which forms a mini funnel out the back of it - I could probably upload a picture if this helps!

2) Why does the car beep when the temperature hits 3C?

3) Can I get touch up paint at my local BMW dealer for little scratches as and when they happen?

4) Is there any way to stop the doors automatically locking when you pass 10mph?

5) I have a little ipod aux in (07 model) but whenever I go round a corner a little quick the ipod goes flying across the car! Has anyone found a decent cradle for the iphone which they would recommend?

The BMW dealer wanted about £18 just for touch up paint which seemed a bit steep, I ordered two part kit of paint and top clear coat from on the web for under a tenner and it seems fine (paints4you I think).

I think this maybe the pen holder?
It clips into place on the RHS side of the open ash tray compartment. Mine falls out all the time.
