I'd love to do the rear lights. If I see a set up for grabs I'll probably get them then fathom out the electronics

Don't like the hardtop - well it's coming off today and the sun is shining again :) Unlike the coupe guys who can convinve themsleves the roof is safer, more stylish and good in Winter.... :rofl:

Auto is fantastic. I went through most of my driving days refusing to consider an auto. Now I have it on this with paddle shifters is the absolute dogs when I balance daily drive, and fun

And of course I've finished modding it. Although I do fancy seeing if I can retrofit an X5 PDC system into the front bumper cover...

So what about removing the badges or CF roundels? Righ or wrong thing on this car as it now is?

Lovely Phil, that is a great example of a car. Those door pockets really finish the red of nicely.

(there is an official front PDC kit available as well :evil: )

Almost, the Z4 is still garaged..been busy modding the 3 series and that's been keeping me busy.. :)
 
Looks great! So do the new speakers really make that much of a difference? I've always put new speakers in my cars, but the BMW ones are decent so I haven't explored many options yet. So you just replaced the door speakers?

Let's put it into context. I'm no audio fanatic and didn't already have any sort of premium BMW audio system, just whatever was standard on the Sat Nav equiped 3.0i. The doors had NO speakers just blanking panels so adding a pair of quality mid range speakers correctly mounted and in sound deadened doors made a vast improvement. As the audio guy who advised told me despite no spearate amp and a full signal to each speaker, at least I now had a full range of speakers and in not bad places.

I'm sure if I were doing it correct it would have new head unit, big separate amp and lots more £££'s.
