A few for sale

Seems that a few more owners are selling up...been on PH classifieds.
Is this because of recent value increases? Will it drive the price back down a bit?

i noticed that too on PH although the number remains at about 5-7 with many having the sold sign. Mine is for keeps until i hear roomer of a v8 version, otherwise will keep and try to get power closeto 400hp w/o s/charger - don't know how but will certainly give it a go........

When I was first looking into selling mine, there were 3 on the AUC website, and there had been no more than 4 for a few months. There's now 8 with 2 coming soon.

OK, not a massive amount but a significant increase in 3 weeks.

Interesting to see this happen. I'll keep an interested eye on things over the next 8 months (the time I was going to get rid) and just see what happens. Car's been gone nearly 2 weeks now, and surprisingly, I don't miss it (yet)

I think residuals for the Z4M have done quite well even with the arrival of the new Z4. The 35i is quickish but it's no track day star so the 'M' still sits in it's own little niche.

There will always be a 'magic' associated with the ownwership of an 'M' car. It's something most petrolheads aspire to sometime in their lives. :driving:

I just hope the X5M and X6M don't dilute and spoil the 'M' name and reputation

Yeah, and the M7 !!! It does seem as though BMW are determined to use the 'M' wherever they think they can get extra sales. Still in today's financial climate you can't really blame them I suppose.

I saw a new shape 7 series today, debadged in black with dark tints and two oval exhaust pipes. Must admit it looked quite mean, an M7 could look like a real gangsta car. Mind you it would cost £85K ????? so it would have to be good!
