A fair price

I've been offered first refusal on a set of 18inch wheels with winter rubber for my wife's 335 xd and I don't know what to offer the guy - to make matters worse, it's a friend who has offered me the wheels.

New price £2050 and they've been fitted for 1300 miles last winter. They have the sensors fitted and all ready to go .

What a fair price? Has anybody any ideas please?

Find out where he at price wise take 50% off (at least) and start from there. Sounds like a good deal but storage can be an issue.

I have 3 full sets of wheels off various vehicles at present I must try and downsize :lol:

There's no easy to store wheels is there ?

Mine are on a shelf in a garage and I fitted a hoist on the ceiling to lift them up and down (they are X5 wheels so weigh a ton ....)

With a little bit of re arranging I might be able to do something like that!

If storage is an issue you could always get one of those Ketel garden storage boxes for the wheels which can be padlocked.

Have a look on ebay, sometimes you get people who buy the boxes but can't be bothered to put them together so sell them off cheap.
