If you are wondering where all the Aussie skiers are, look no more, they're in Banff. Every store I went into was staffed with either Aussies or Kiwis.

Caddy, they ski here all winter then go south and ski in their winter (our summer), New Zealand I believe has quite a bit.
Yeah, New Zealand is a good spot to ski.. We're headed there this season for about a month in August...
Unfortunately for a decent ski trip (near home) you have to head to NZ.. Our fields are ok, but we have a short season and the prices are crazy for what you get.. Sometimes cheaper to head to places like NZ or Japan to go skiing...

Earlier on I could have got a photo of a herd of Elk bedded down about 30 yds from the road but there were far too many Tourists milling about taking pictures and walking on the road. Next time I see a big herd I'll snap a few shots, I see a few every year near where I work and there won't be any tourists then...
