So I spent the weekend tidying up the Z4, wash, clay bar, wax, etc. And now it looks great!
But I've also had time to gather a couple questions...
1. The radiator fan is awfully loud. After driving a while you can definitely hear it while stopped and it's not the whirrring of the blades but a more high pitched whistling. Is this pretty normal or have the bearings gone bad perhaps? (It's a 2008 so I'd think not...)
2. The engine had the lifter ticking but the dealer replaced the lifters before I took it home and now it does not. However, there is a much quieter ticking that is heard while it is running. It's not overly loud but I'm not sure if it is normal or not. Come to think of it I have a video... (notice the shiny the hood is

It's still under warranty so I may have them take a look at it - that is unless these are just the way they are?
I also found out my right rear tyre (I like that spelling better lol) was leaking 10 psi/day so I took it off and discovered not one but TWO screws in it! they look like they had been there a while, too. Fortunately they could be repaired and my local tire place doesn't charge me for patches.
