A couple of recent cosmetic mods

How did I miss this? :headbang:

White E85 zed? Love it! Rear lights are a tad dark for my liking (if we all had the same taste life would be boring), but I fully approve of the rest

Nice work

In the past (like ten years ago) you could buy those keyhole plugs in every mercedes stealer
they were about 1euro a pair, but were matt black

BTW no hellred in offer on this site :(

^ all true; but as a Smart part. You have to first remove the "key" symbol from them with a Stanley knife and then have to paint them yourselves. It will be hard to achieve a similar result as that offered by Bumperplug, especially for that amount of money. I would rather bet on the Bumperplugs...

Caliper covers are nice quality Aluminum - no pretense that these are upgraded larger calipers - just something to hide the ugly stock, and an alternative to painting the calipers.

Yup, here too for the keyhole plugs (especially for the rear)
They're a little expensive though

I'm not fond of the caliper covers, they look quite fake :(
Why not paint them? Looks so much better... I will paint mine soon :)

Theres a good post on making the keyhole covers yourself using screw cap covers, 400 grit sand paper and a touchup pen from your local dealer - fastened with 3M double sided tape.

Just trying to find some 2cm diameter screw caps for my coupe as this is the measurement of the door key holes. The coupe does not have a keyhole for the boot.

Very Nice indeed. I am intrigued by the caliper covers - there web site says they are quick to fit, how are they actually attached?

Unclepip - The caliper covers attach to the calipers via two SS brackets. Fairly simple to install, and quite secure. Only caution is to not over - torque the fasteners which attach to the brackets via Pems. Torque values are given in the installation instructions - a good torque wrench is your friend.
I think there is an installation video on their website as well?

Thanks 2wister - you have one smart looking car and your key hole covers seem to have cuased a stir....we are so easy pleased over hear :D

Shall we draw up a list of those who are interested in these keyhole covers? I think we've probably got a fair amount of interest in a possible group buy...
