A couple of Non-RFT questions

I've just ordered some non-RFTs for my 3.0Si.

After much reading here I went with the Goodyear F1 Asim 2s

A couple of questions:

1) Any issues in terms of the Tyres Pressure Monitoring System when installing non-RFTs?

2) Which emergency "Tyre Weld" system do members favour carrying?

Tpms system in the e85/e86 is fine, no faults will stand.
As for pump etc, I had the slime system from euro car parts.

+1 for slime kit as well, i have never needed to use it but its meant to be good stuff

As others with the TPMS system which operates in comparing wheel rotation and variation caused by deflation.

As for tyre weld - USE A WATER BASED VERSION which can be flushed out if a repair is needed. Many garages will not attempt a repair if other non soluble variants are used
