Does DR=DL in this thread? I got confused! (which is far too easy to do) :D

Good result though.

+1 had to re-read the OP. Given Bing's usual approach, shocking lack of attention to detail. Must be on a yellow card from the OCD club

Nice result there Bing

It's been my word of the day at work all week

So it turns out karma really is a bitch - driving behind a GTR on the M20 this morning, I see something flash across my field of vision and hear a big smack on the screen... Once it's lighter and after I park up I see this :

Seriously - WTF ? First time I've driven the car any distance since the screen was fitted and this happens. Happy Monday :(

Hmmm, I could see it on my iPhone but have amended the URL - can you see it now ?

Turns out that if it's smaller than a 10p - which I think it is - they can repair it. They're coming out tomorrow, fingers crossed it should get sorted. Judgement on karma now pending :D

wow Bing .. that is .... As Carol says, you literally couldn't write that. I guess in the end you have to laugh.

You couldn't make it up! Jesus!

It seems to be bad car Monday after epic car Sunday, enjoyed a proper blast all weekend and I get a misfire this morning. FFS

Recently had new windscreen fitted to our Series1 by Autoglass and it was the fitter who came to the house that insisted only an OEM seal would be any good.
Made an A1 job and showed me OEM packaging as proof.

Can't see the damage but get the picture and can't quite believe the luck there Bing. Hope it can be fixed flawlessly mate.

I think if you saw my bonnet and front bumper you'd collapse in grief Jonny

The stone that hit the windscreen on Monday appears to have hit the bonnet first judging by the fresh chip... As did the one that cracked it in the first place :( It'll get treated to a front end respray when I can afford it, but I can't avoid motorways and there's no point doing it right now.

The chap was worried about the size and the pressure cracking it more as it was only just within limits, but he did a great job and there's now just the teeniest mark on the outside. You can just see it from the inside, but it's barely noticeable, just some very small reflections which he'd warned me about before starting. If it had been on the driver's side it would have needed a new screen... So, I have retained my OEM windscreen - until the next time. Think I'll drive at 60mph miles behind any other traffic from now on :P

If I remember I'll take a couple of photos in the morning.
