A better cupholder (cointray / ashtray) replacement

In answer to your question, at the price point you are suggesting I would like to purchase one. Unfortunately the one Dave reviewed was just too costly.

This is an interesting idea. Could be held in place magnetically perhaps or if there ? Since I don't have an ashtray lid to measure, could you share its precise dimensions and some up close pictures of the underside of the lid? If there are some existing "tabs" maybe can use those for spacial retention. I doubt it needs much more than X/Y retention, Z retention I suppose gravity can take care of.

I'll put it on the list of "maybe features" I am trying to incorporate. Can't promise it's possible with the limited space though.

This updated design looks great particularly as it can accommodate a standard modern phone. This fixes a major issue with the storage options in the Z4. I’ve bought tge original but would certainly support buying yours because of the phone storage capability.

If you go to User Control Panel / Board Preferences, you can set things like your timezone and then you will see the date against every post.
 
Not wanting to tread on the OP's toes, but if this didn't happen then look at https://bimmercup.com/. Don't be put off by the price - it is in Danish Kroner and is around £25.
