Just looking at all the non 'M' cars fitting quad exhausts and wondered if it was the equivalent of putting a banana down your trousers to make your penis look bigger

Now we usually flame anyone for sticking 'M' badges on non 'M' cars but isn't the quad exhaust mod an even greater attempt of portraying your 3" as a foot?

I would say not... quad exhaust adds balance to the back of the car and so the car looks better. Adding an M badge is not really the same thing.

I agree with sp3ctre, its not a pretence to better performance its to make an asthetic enhancement. Bit like a woman having Ass implants...wont help her Sh1t any better but she will look great when viewed from behind.

Sort of see where you are coming from, my own changes were driven by the fact I've had my Zed 8 years and just wanted to freshen the look somewhat and let's be honest there's not that much out there to allow us to do that.
That said it's getting to the point where it may have been cheaper to change the car, but this is my Zed I know exactly how it's been looked after for every one of it's 70K miles and I don't see me ever selling it.
I don't need the extra running costs or performance the M offers, as my audible passenger seat mounted limiter would never let me take advantage of it.
