Spent some good nights in the White Bear but last few years the pubs in the fringe villages are much nicer places

Assheton Arms / Downham
Spread Eagle / Sawley ( we passed by today )
Barley Mow / Barley
& The White Bull / Gisburn
are all worth a visit

Yeah white bear has gone down hill in the last few years

We (only me and Andy  ) also went past the Tempest arms which is another great pub

What a shame. White bear was literally my local back in the 90's!
Coming originally from Liverpool, although not really having a scouse accent, it took about 4 years before the locals stopped asking me 'yur nut frum rewnd ere are ye?' Lol
Happy days.

Looks like a great run out with a good turn out.
Think you should have kept the bookcase in the boot for ballast marlon although it's not a good look !.

Here's the Video of the Zeds leaving Gawthorpe

it felt nice to drive, you almost lost both your car and your Mrs Marlon, she suggested we run away together lol

Top job there Colin  Taz thought he'd won the league , arrived as a passenger next to John & left driving your car with Lady M alongside :D result :P

Bugger - so Steph's been poorly and I'm thinking if she pulls round we'll get down to your run and then guess who gets it next :x

Two days in bed and the need to stay close to easy access plumbing means no chance. . . . :(

Looks magic - Glad it went well. :driving:

Great to see the photos, though my heart quickens when I see that V numberplate and then takes another jump when I see Marlon's wheels . . . .

Got that new screen fitted Andy?

Very enjoyable morning out  Big thanks to Andy for sorting out. Great to see some old friends and some new faces. Great pics Tax.

Paul, you been eating Stephs cooking? Screen was still opaque judging by Andy's driving. :poke:
