Hi guys,

My 2.5i SE Roadster is for sale - November 2004 on a 54 plate, 59,900 miles, Maldives Blue with Black Oregon leather interior, 18" 108 alloys (or brand new, optional M6 replicas for an extra £690), heated seats, wind deflector, electric folding exterior mirrors, 2 keys, just taxed, MOT'd until Nov, and a full BMW service history.

Car is extremely clean! Only obvious defect is a small chip which has been touched in under driver's door handle.

Drives beautifully and I'm genuinely only selling it in order to buy another one - ideally an auto.

For full details and 14 photos please go to WWW.NICARFINDER.CO.UK - if you just search Z4, then change results sorter drop down box to ''price low to high'' you'll soon find it!!

If you wish to get in touch directly please call me on 07547 512196 or e-mail [email protected].

Alternatively please feel free to ask any questions here and I will answer them publicly.

It's priced very competitively in order to sell quickly, so no silly offers please, or part exchanges - thanks, Richard

Hi guys - better weblink for viewing all the photos, http://www.usedcarsni.com/34976435?grtkey=1277973013_1edb1fc97fdec07e947fc734ecefd26f this will get you straight there without having to do any searching.

I think it looks great on the 19" M6 wheels but all feedback welcome.

Any feedback on price also gratefully received, good or bad welcome!

Thanks, Richard

I'd say it would be very competitive if it was a 3.0, but it's a 2.5, so it's a bit steep. There's a good £1500 difference at the lower end of the market between similar examples - recent sales of 3.0 have been snapped up at around 10,500-10,750, so pricing yours at only £700 less is asking for a lot.

The wheels will also put some buyers off.

Also, so will your location, but you know that anyway. If NI buyers want to attract people from the mainland they need to be undercutting - your home market for these sort of cars is small, particularly because of the punitive taxation.

HTH.

Cheers for the feedback Spud, always welcome.

£9850 is only an asking price of course - have to pitch it somewhere but would actually take a bit less.

The wheels are only offered as an option - they've only done about 70 miles on the car, on dry days only, and can be swapped back to the original 108's depending on the buyer's preference. The car hasn't seen any 'boy racer' abuse.

As regards the location Belfast's always going to put some people off, but the reality is that with budget airlines flying here from nearly every regional airport many people could get here faster and cheaper than driving 2 hours up the road to look at one elsewhere - just need a slight sense of adventure :-)

I'm happy to meet any potential buyer at the airport to keep it easy.

Remember folks this is an NI car, so just the same as any other UK car - same V5 etc - no tax implications, no import duties, etc. Not to be confused with an ROI car where there's much more complication in bringing it into the UK.

And if the NI registration number puts anyone off it can be changed onto a 54 plate (FOC) when taxing the car in any UK tax office.

Hope that goes some way to help with any concerns which may be out there. This is a good, straight, original, clean car with sensible miles & a full history.

Cheers all - Richard

I'd be looking to try and get between £9,200 and £9,400 if I were you, with the variance depending on how it is in the flesh. I wouldn't advise you dropping it much below that or you'll be selling yourself short.

Well done on the clarification - enhances your openness and honesty as a seller and people will people should value that.

Good luck

Bit hard to get the Z4 on the plane coming home though :poke:

That's a fair point - damn all these hand luggage restrictions!

Of course there is a flip side - it might mean another £30 on a 2nd easyjet flight to come and collect the car, but then you could take your new Zed for one of the world's top drives!

In 3 or 4 hours you can leave my house (on the shore of Belfast lough), drive the famous 'North Coast road' (it was one of the world's top 50 best roads in FHM :D ), and be back in either Larne, Belfast or Dublin for the ferry home, to either Scotland, Liverpool or Hollyhead.

Or stay a night to go out in Belfast, which is totally transformed from the cr*phole it was 20 years ago to have become a proper party city!!

Anyway I'm off before I start to sound any more like a car salesman, or someone from the Northern Ireland tourist office!!

Cheers all

By the way, I know this is a shot in the dark but if anyone in Ireland fancies swapping my 5 spoke 108's for their ellipsoid 107's please get in touch.

Cheers

I would put this bit up on it's own in the buy and sell section, as you might get a bit more interest.

Sold and gone at £9850.

Really fancy a 3.0 auto, in an ideal world it would be sterling grey with red leather but not essential, might even consider a manual.

Open to suggestions.......
