Yep, I did online MOT checks on 98 Minis today. Some were low milers, some were average, a couple were high. They were all cars between 2008 and 2012.
Every one, bar none, was shite!
Dealers or private, made no difference. Even the prices were very similar.
The amount of people who think that an oil change every 4 years is a full service history is shocking!
I have come to the conclusion that I need to stop looking for a 'good one' and just look for a 'less shite one'.
One thing, though, I am learning what the common issues are with the new type Mini. :|
A few even had subframe rot; looks like BMW did a good job of replicating the classic Mini after all.
