First uncluttered pictures, and this is my colour :thumbsup:

It is beautiful. I was sitting in the car park at the station waiting yesterday, and there was a new Mercedes SLS and a 997 in front of me in black.

Even though black is not a colour to keep clean, I would be tempted by it, but not with black seats, most likely red or so. The 991 is yet again a nicer looking car than the 997, and the 996 before that.

Really need to find out if the manual is a true manual, read different stories about that box.
 
Slightly off topic but there was a comment in Autocar about SLS values. Apparently Tom Hartley has a delivery mileage one up at £134k versus original purchase price of £181k!! :o

Someone has taken a major bath on that!

Yeah, but a new R8 is rumoured to come out. Nothing official yet though.

I now understand that it's just a small re-fresh and not a new car next year, but you know what dealers are like :idunno:

Apparently next year will see a facelift of the R8. But there is speculation that only shortly after that there will be a new model. I have my doubts though, don't think it makes sense to release a facelift and then a completely new design shortly after... Everything is speculation though, as far as I have heard at least. :?

There is just way to much beige in that last picture, but all else is gorgeous
 
i followed a porsche for several miles in south france, speeds were high hehe, very nice days drive

not sure what model it was, got a nod as he turned off the main trunk road
