As title , anyone running this set up & if so are the tyres looking stretched ?
All info online suggests no probs but if 255 fits standard BMW 8.5j then you would expect some noticeable stretch on 9.5 rims :?

I run 225s on my 9.5 rears there is a stretch i wouldn't say it was really noticeable. I hate the strech look where you see the edge of the alloy!! I still have rim protection.

225 on 9.5 :o no stretch ? I'm looking at the rim against a 108 rear 8.5 & it looks huge in comparison
What profile do you run Mat ?
I have a full set of 255 35 & 225 40 18 Falken's but Id prefer goin M profile of 45 front & 40 rear ?
Wheels are Et32 & car will be lowered lowered 30mm which i think works :? I want the arches to look full but don't want 19inch alloys & don't want to run spacers

As per my recent thread, I've discovered that you cant go on just Tyre size alone. The Tyre model makes all the difference too. (Especially with Falkens !)

The tyre is fine. It was the only way to stop the rubbing without serious arch mods.

Handles better than standard, so must be doing something right.

I'm not a fan of the stretched look & 9.5j rims should have minimum 265 imo so have gone for the rubber first then will decide what drop i can get away with 8)
Conti Sportcontact3's lined up so not far off wheeling the car up :driving:
