Interesting, but looks unbalanced in my opinion. Most of the estate conversions did I think.

Personally I think it looks pretty ghastly, but it does have a bench seat in the back for the ladies!! :trampoline:

I can think of much better cars to spend that sort of money on:

Ah, my dad used to have a P1800 in that colour. Lovely car. I loved the amount of leavers and dials it had. Also got to love a car with overdrive. When you're young you think that is some sort of super boost! :)

Sadly it was sold many years ago. Wonder where she is now :scratchhead:

Ha! Found it!!! It's still alive!!

Wow - you'd really have to want it to pay that for it!

And behind the rear doors it just doesn't look right.

I think I'd just look for an E39 530i Touring and blow the rest on something more exciting! :)

But if you like Touring BMWs and/or E3s and you've already got the rest in your collection (I haven't!) then having one of these would be significant. The catch, though, (as I understand it) is that this isn't one that came out of a BMW factory like the rally team support vehicles so is a bit of a half-way-house for collectors.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell...
