£7K Car Wash?

If people can be convinced they need to spend that amount of money having their car cleaned then they must be a complete muppet.

So he's just cleaning, claying and putting on some posh wax.

Could get all that from halfords for less than £100. Rich people can be so stupid sometimes!

Rich people don't have the time to detail their cars. A full treatment will take 4 weeks for £7k. Supercar owners can earn that money in hours.

Do the math everyone.
He is ofering 250hrs labour with 100% techno geekery and zymols finest which is quite a few £££sa compared to any you or I own.
£7000/250hrs = £28ph which is typically less than I work at.
Admitedly its a little toooooo obssesive but the way im assuming he see's it is if Paul dalton can do it then why cant he?
tbh im sick of seeing this link and all the publicity its getting but good or bad publicity is always good and hes getting recognised isnt he?
I cannot see how you can spend 250hrs detailing a car.
Dont get me wrong, its not just cleaning a car, its far more than that including serious analysis of all the vehicle, carefull measurements and having the know how to deal with such issues.
I dont know many polski car washes that can do what a detailer does.
One of my friends runs a main dealers valeting department and until I shown some work he couldnt appreciate it at all.
Now he stairs in awe and still doesnt know how i have the bottle to wet sand paint on a black car and get it looking flawless.

Opinions will be opinions and forums are notorous for that but though I dont condone the £7000 price tag nor the 250hrs labour I do hold respect for the guy trying and in some ways succeding in being extremely particular in what he does and being good at it to.
