Looking good OP.

Although I wouldn't have been able to ignore Guards Red myself regardless of the consequences!

Glad you are enjoying it. :driving:

They do suit red very well Mr T, however I feel enough of a dick driving a grey one, let alone a more shouty red one...

That is one gorgeous looking car John 😍I had a ride in a 718 not too long ago and there is certainly nothing shabby about them. Look great from every angle

That looks absolutely cracking John. I was also 50/50 on agate grey and guards red when I ordered my Cayman GTS and I went for guards red with the red stitching for the interior package. Interesting you also opted for a leather steering wheel rather than the standard alcantara. I have been running my four pot for about six months now and it really does grow on you. The power delivery from the turbo is superb. Enjoy :D

The red is gorgeous isn’t it Boyo, knowing me I’ll be lusting after red in a few months....

Yep I didn’t like the Alcantara wheel, prefer leather, they also look horrible when they get worn. The throttle response is manic, so quick to pick up from stationary, catches you out a bit tbh, I’m used to a more leisurely pick up on the 35is. So looking forward getting the running in period out of the way, we’ve got some brilliant roads in the Peak District for stretching its legs.

Happy motoring mate. :driving:

Thanks very much chaps...the 4 pot haters are staying quiet I see......

Must admit I wouldn’t choose a 718 over a nice s/h 981, having extensively sampled a GTS with PSE, but I think if you can live with the noise then it’s obviously a bloody amazing car in all other respects.

The GT4 and Spyder have now added a much-needed halo to the 718 line-up too.

The red does look good but equally I think the grey is stunning. Know what you mean about the alcantara! Interesting regarding the power delivery from the much maligned four pot. According to Porsche, the GTS with PDK is 0.3 seconds quicker from standing to 62mph than the recently released manual GT4

Oh that’s very nice, can’t wait for a proper review from you

Never mind a new car, sort your bloody camera out to take photos the correct way up. :poke: Oh and get busy on your garden furniture, that wood looks pants John :poke: :poke:
Disgusting treatment of wood
The Beetle looks nice by the way.

A nice looking car
How many miles before you can drive it properly?

I’m on a self imposed 3k rev limit for the first 1k Ronk, however that’s mixed roads so it’s getting plenty of gear changes in as apposed to just steady revs motorway runs for eg.
